Recording and writing break. - November 6, 2007

I'll be in the studio this fall and winter recording new songs for the near future and taking a break from performing. Also finishing new projects by my friends Mark Spangler and Bill Rich.

Highlands Festival - July 29, 2007

Had an awesome weekend at the Highlands Festival in Abington Va. Such a great little town. Also we stayed with some friends, David and Ann Ledgerwood, who are not only great folks but talented singers and musicians. If you live around there, catch one of their concerts.

Busy - June 7, 2007

It's been a busy Spring! Clinton's been helping Billy Goat Gruff finish their second album recorded at Lost Cauz Studio. This band is fun and very original. Make sure you check out their website at http://www.angelfire.com/folk/billygoatgruff/main. Also he's currently producing singer/songwriter Mark Spangler's second album. Both projects should be released later this year.

Sisters Coffee House - May 5, 2007

Had a great time tonight at Sisters Coffee House in Princeton WV. Great vibe and audience. The best salmon cakes also. Creek Boy Blues - May 6, 2006

The new cd will be released early June and contains 11 original tunes. The songs are sparse and acoustic with an Americana/Appalachian theme running throughout.

Cross The River - February 3, 2006

We've placed a sample of a new song from the upcoming cd. Hope you like it. The project is near completion and hopefully will be out late April.

New CD - November 8, 2005

Clinton has started pre-production of a new cd to be released early spring. It will consist of new songs and a couple of older ones that's never been recorded. The songs will have an Appalachian theme based on his childhood and the culture of the mountains, while a few will stray to other areas of life. The cd will be titled Creek Boy Blues and will lean heavily on mountain instruments and what he calls Bluesygrass music. Stay tune the next couple of months for details and some sneek peaks.

The Appalachian Way - September 28, 2005

Clinton's song, The Appalachian Way, was selected as this year's finalist in The Next Great West Virginia Song Contest, held at the Tamarack in Beckley WV on Sept. 25. The song will appear on THE ROAD HOME Songs of West Virginia Vol. 2 sometime next year. You can read lyrics on the Music/Lyric Page. NewSong Festival - September 2, 2005

Clinton is one of five co-winners of the 2005 NewSong Festival.
